Dave and his ‘Beer Essentials’

Even though we had decided to bed in and not go out for the 4 weeks lock down, Dave ran out of beer-necessities, so he had to make the quick exit into the supermarket. Needless to say, we are now well stocked! He loves a beer at the end of the day, and it certainly keeps his spirit levels up! Comments were Pak n Save was quite empty really, and it was quite easy. Hmmm, he never does the shopping, so now that we are going to be looking at a new normal, I may be onto something here!

Driveway Drinks

We had our driveway drinks in a different location, a bit further up the driveway on our neighbours pad, so that a couple of other neighbours could join us if they wished. Wow, what a great outdoor home cinema set up they have! Their two boys get to watch movies on a massive 130 inch screen from the tent on their front lawn, while their parents socialise. Awesome!

Covid Catchup

89 new cases today with the numbers being as high as ever in one day and taking us over the 1,000 mark. There’s much debate about the length of the lock down but apparently, it’s too soon for the Government to make any announcements. After the great day I had outside cutting my track through the bush, where I am totally oblivious to the whole world, I would be happy for it to continue on for a while yet! Naughty, I shouldn’t think like that! Pare-dise is such a great place to be!
